Eyeshadow Dust Haul!

This weekend I have been stocking up on eyeshadow dusts, I have chosen colours which I know many of you will already have as they are classics and will work with a number of different looks. First up we have the infamous Barry M Glitterdust in Number 4 and the Dazzledusts in Numbers 31 and 44;

Number 4 is a silver glitter dust, this can be used in so many ways. You can place it on top of your favourite eyeshadow look to make it even more special for a night out, or you can use it on other parts of your face and body, be warned though it can take quite a bit of washing off! I also picked up number 31, which is a lilac colour, it's very pale and good for adding just a bit of colour to your outer eye and along the crease. Number 44, is a beautiful bronze colour with shimmers of gold, this colour is AMAZING and I highly recomend it. I can see this being repurchased again and again.

The photograph above shows swatches of the 3 dusts, as you can see the dazzeldusts are very pigmented and I can't wait to start working them in to more looks!

I also picked up some bargain basement dusts;

Up first is a highly pigmented UV dust, the only name it has on it is "Jayne" it was picked up for £1.99 in a small store here called Danglers, I don't usually shop in there, but I thought this dust would be fun for creating some crazy eyeshadow looks while over in Ibiza next month. I also picked up 2 Stargazer 'eye dusts' from New Look, reduced from £3.50 each to 50p! It'd be rude to pass them up! I chose Number 14 which is a dark purple and Number 18 which is a pure black dust.

As you can see from the swatches they are all increadibly pigmented. I'm thinking of mixing the pink dust with some of the shadows from my Beauty UK 'Brights' pallette. I'm hoping to get those looks up soon, although I have unfortunally broken out in spots at the moment, so I'm going to hold out until they've calmed down!

So, what are your favourite dazzledusts? Any recomendations?

Whats in my Bag?

I always find these really interesting, and with my blog being new, I thought this is a good way for you to know me better, and see what I consider to be essential enough to carry with me everywhere I go. So here goes...

Bag - A cream, quileted oversized bag purchased from a stall in the McArthur Glen shopping centre in York, these came in a variety of colours and a lot of people have them, but I don't blame them, the quality is so, so good and it has lots of little pockets inside, so it will be great for when I start back at Uni in October!
Purse - This was also purchased from the same stall and it's such a nice purse, inside it I have my bank cards, driving licence, NUS card, uni cards, store loyalty cards and some loose change, I rarely carry notes.
Book - I'm currently reading Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic Ties The Knot (yeah, I know I'm a little late) I carry this in my bag as it's good to have handy for my lunch break at work (I work out of town, so I have no chance of being able to go shopping, during lunch!)
Glasses/Contact Lense Stuff - I always carry around a glasses case, my contact lense case, some eye drops and wipes. I love wearing my contacts, but they do tend to dry my eyes out so I always need drops and when they're really bad, I just swap to my glasses. I got black as I think they are classic and will go with any outfit I wear. I really love my glasses!
Keys - At the moment I only have my car key and front door house key that I carry around, it's so cute, I got it cute on to a little Eeyore key fob :)!
iPod Touch - I love this! I have the 16gb version and it's so much fun, I love the fact I can go on facebook just using this and it comes in so essential for listening to in Uni.
Phone - I have just realised this isn't in the picture, It's a Sony k850i which is really quite old, but I'm not thatbothered, I only use it to talk and text, I haven't quite gotten used to using the internet on it yet, probably never will!

Make Up Bag - My make up bag is from the Body Shop, I got it for christmas with some goodies inside, and I think it's really pretty and just the right size to carry all my essential make-up items in. These are the bare essentials, when I'm going camping at Leeds Festival at the end of the month, this is what I'll be taking with me. Inside is; Mac Studio Sculpt Foundation in NC15, Soap & Glory Trick & Treatment Under Eye Concealer, Benefit Erase Paste in No. 1, Rimmel London blush in 'Santa Rose', Mac MSF Duo in 'Light Medium/Natural and Shimmer', Rimmel 'Sexy Curves' Mascara in 'Brown/Black', Rimmel Black Kohl Liner,Ruby & Millie Kabuki Brush and a Cheap Cosmopolitan Blusher Brush which will do until my Sigma brushes arrive (I recieved an email yesterday, they've been dispatched, I can't wait!)

So, yeah, this is what's in my bag, hope you are all having a lovely day :)!
