Whats in my Bag?

I always find these really interesting, and with my blog being new, I thought this is a good way for you to know me better, and see what I consider to be essential enough to carry with me everywhere I go. So here goes...

Bag - A cream, quileted oversized bag purchased from a stall in the McArthur Glen shopping centre in York, these came in a variety of colours and a lot of people have them, but I don't blame them, the quality is so, so good and it has lots of little pockets inside, so it will be great for when I start back at Uni in October!
Purse - This was also purchased from the same stall and it's such a nice purse, inside it I have my bank cards, driving licence, NUS card, uni cards, store loyalty cards and some loose change, I rarely carry notes.
Book - I'm currently reading Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic Ties The Knot (yeah, I know I'm a little late) I carry this in my bag as it's good to have handy for my lunch break at work (I work out of town, so I have no chance of being able to go shopping, during lunch!)
Glasses/Contact Lense Stuff - I always carry around a glasses case, my contact lense case, some eye drops and wipes. I love wearing my contacts, but they do tend to dry my eyes out so I always need drops and when they're really bad, I just swap to my glasses. I got black as I think they are classic and will go with any outfit I wear. I really love my glasses!
Keys - At the moment I only have my car key and front door house key that I carry around, it's so cute, I got it cute on to a little Eeyore key fob :)!
iPod Touch - I love this! I have the 16gb version and it's so much fun, I love the fact I can go on facebook just using this and it comes in so essential for listening to in Uni.
Phone - I have just realised this isn't in the picture, It's a Sony k850i which is really quite old, but I'm not thatbothered, I only use it to talk and text, I haven't quite gotten used to using the internet on it yet, probably never will!

Make Up Bag - My make up bag is from the Body Shop, I got it for christmas with some goodies inside, and I think it's really pretty and just the right size to carry all my essential make-up items in. These are the bare essentials, when I'm going camping at Leeds Festival at the end of the month, this is what I'll be taking with me. Inside is; Mac Studio Sculpt Foundation in NC15, Soap & Glory Trick & Treatment Under Eye Concealer, Benefit Erase Paste in No. 1, Rimmel London blush in 'Santa Rose', Mac MSF Duo in 'Light Medium/Natural and Shimmer', Rimmel 'Sexy Curves' Mascara in 'Brown/Black', Rimmel Black Kohl Liner,Ruby & Millie Kabuki Brush and a Cheap Cosmopolitan Blusher Brush which will do until my Sigma brushes arrive (I recieved an email yesterday, they've been dispatched, I can't wait!)

So, yeah, this is what's in my bag, hope you are all having a lovely day :)!

Hello!

Hello Everyone! As I'm sure you can see this is my first post, so I thought it would make sence to make this a brief introduction about myself!
As you've probably guessed, thats me to the left. I'm Emma, and I recently turned 22 on the 15th July. I live in Middlesbrough, where I am currently studying for a Media degree, I can't say I know for definate what I want to do when I graduate, I flicker between working in journalism and the radio. I suppose it all depends if I get lucky in a few years when I finally graduate!
I love all things assosiated with beauty, as a student I'm on a slightly limited budget, but I have began to make sure I buy quality rather than quantity. I love looking for new products and trying them out. Which is why I love reading about other peoples experiences with new products they've tried as I feel it gives you a true opinion, rather than a magazine, that has probably been paid to write good things!
I also love music, and I try and attend as many gigs as possible, although admittedly Middlesbrough is hardly 'gig-central' I usually have to travel to Newcastle or Leeds to see big bands. I'm eagerly awaiting my annual trip to Leeds Festival next month, especially as one of my favourite bands the Arctic Monkeys are playing!
Anyway, thats enough about me for now, all in all I'm hoping to try and update this blog as often as possible, I'm no make-up expert, I'm just having fun experimenting, I'm also going to talk about new music I'm listening too, allow you to follow my weight loss journey I'm currently embarking on and along the way show you any new purchases I happen to make, if you've made it this far, thanks for reading and see you all soon!
